I was recently in a Christian bookstore and saw what I thought were several books around the store with the title More on the Way.  Every time I saw the title, I got more and more encouraged.  Sermons started formulating in my mind.  A sense of expectation started building in my heart for 2018.  I knew in my depths of my soul that God definitely had More on the Way for me.  That is, until I got closer and realized that it was just a cardstock marker that the store uses to alert its customers that particular items were out of stock, but more were in fact on the way!  I got such a good laugh out of my niavete, that I shared the experience with the cashier who laughed with me.  Then he said, “Maybe God is trying to tell you something.”  And with that, I wholeheartedly agreed.  As the new year is upon us, I am still quite convinced that God has many blessings in store for His people, with More on the Way!
